The Cycle of Life Tour, held each summer, is a two-day, 200-kilometer group bike ride to raise money for hospice care on Vancouver Island.

125 cyclists + 200 km + 2 days = one huge difference!

You can be part of this wonderful fundraiser by sponsoring our very own team, the Cowichan Life Cyclers, or sponsoring an individual rider.

Hospice services across the island rely on community donations and events such as the Cycle of Life Tour. Every dollar raised will make a difference for dying patients and their families, and funds raised in the Cowichan region will stay in the Cowichan region.

To learn more about the tour, or to support a rider or team, please visit www.cycleoflifetour.ca.

If you are a business and would like to be Cycle of Life Sponsor, please call 250-701-4242 or email diana@cowichanhospice.org

Introducing Our Team

2026

The Cowichan Life Cyclers are a dedicated community team riding in support of the Cowichan Hospice Society, helping ensure that no one in our community faces serious illness or grief alone.

On July 18–19, 2026, the team will ride more than 200 kilometres as part of the Cycle of Life Tour—a meaningful journey through Vancouver Island that brings people together in support of compassionate, end-of-life care. Each kilometre ridden represents a shared commitment to dignity, comfort, and connection for individuals and families navigating some of life’s most difficult moments.

Through their efforts, the Cowichan Life Cyclers raise vital funds for hospice programs that provide care, counselling, and grief support across the Cowichan region. Every donation helps ensure that compassionate care is available when people need it most—whether someone is living with serious illness or grieving the loss of a loved one.

This initiative is made possible thanks to the generosity of riders, donors, and local supporters, as well as the partnership of Victoria Hospice, who administers the tour.

With gratitude,

Gretchen & Joanna for the Cowichan Life Cyclers
