Share Your Hospice Story
Do you have a story you’d like to share about an experience with hospice support?
Have you or a loved one benefited from support from Cowichan Hospice? Or from a hospice in another community? Would you consider sharing your story with us so we can help others understand what hospice support really means?
By sharing your story, you can help others see how our support might benefit their family. Stories of real hospice experience also help donors appreciate how their generous donations are making an impact in the Cowichan community.
A story doesn't have to be long or profound to be impactful. Was there a moment of happiness or of tenderness with your family or loved one that stood out to you? A time when a hospice volunteer helped lessen your worry when you were feeling overwhelmed?
We use these stories on our website, in our newsletters and in other promotional material to help people in our community understand the support that's available to them in their end-of-life, caregiving and grief journeys.

We will never share a story without your permission, and the option to use a fictitious name is always available. We also understand that sometimes a story is too personal to be shared beyond our walls. Please get in touch and you’ll be contacted by a hospice staff member so we can learn more about you.
