Life-Limiting Illness Support
You matter.
Your family matters.
Especially at the end of life.

Good hospice palliative care is whole-person care.
Rather than cure, hospice palliative care focuses on relieving physical symptoms, while also addressing a person’s social, emotional, and spiritual needs. It is a holistic approach that extends far beyond medical treatment, focusing on enhancing overall quality of life.
At any stage in the palliative journey, Cowichan Hospice is here to help.
While you or your loved one may not need a high level of medical intervention, it is never too soon to receive other types of support we can offer. This includes support for family members.
Our skilled staff and volunteers provide emotional and social support, practical resources, and wellness treatments - at home, in hospital and in long-term care facilities, as well as in Cowichan Hospice House. Hospice staff and volunteers are part of the caregiving team (family, friends and health care professionals) who provide emotional support and information, and help ensure each individual’s needs and choices are met with sensitivity.
