About the event

Supporting Youth Through Grief: A Community Conversation
Not all grief is visible — especially for young people.
Sometimes it looks like silence. Sometimes it shows up as anger, withdrawal, or changes that are hard to name. And sometimes, it’s hidden in plain sight, unnoticed by the very people who care most. For many children and youth, grief can feel confusing and isolating — not because they are alone, but because their experience is not always understood.
At Cowichan Hospice Society, we believe every young person deserves to feel seen, supported, and accompanied through grief.
