Substance Use-Related Harm and Death
In addition to support from Cowichan Hospice, there are free local and online resources available for those living substance use.

​BC Cancer covers the full spectrum of cancer care from prevention, screening, diagnosis and treatment, to research and education, to supportive and palliative care.​

InspireHealth supports your physical, emotional, and spiritual health during cancer with a clinical team that is guided by your priorities and goals.

SATA Centre for Conscious Living supports people dealing with health challenges by addressing the gaps left by the modern healthcare system. SATA goes beyond physical treatment to offer emotional, social, and spiritual support through a blend of ancient and modern practices, including mindfulness, spiritual exploration, and behavioural therapy.

Local Cancer Support Group - The group's main purpose is to provide a connection among people who are living with cancer. The gatherings offer a safe place for people to talk about their cancer experiences and know that they are not alone during this difficult time. The group meets on the fourth Friday of each month at 10:30am, at the Cowichan Hospice Community Services Office (3122 Gibbins Road).
Caregivers are also welcome to attend.
